パラフィンワックスとは何ですか？

パラフィンワックスは、石油、シェールオイル、または他のビトミナス鉱油の特定の蒸留物から抽出されます。これは無臭無味の炭化水素の混合物であり、白または淡黄色の半透明の固体です。また、人工パラフィンも存在します。

パラフィンワックスの特性

Paraffin wax is a mixture of hydrocarbons, so it does not have a strict melting point like pure compounds, melting at 47°C-64°C. All kinds of wax products require paraffin wax to have good temperature resistance, that is, it does not melt or soften and deform at a specific temperature.

According to the use conditions, the regions and seasons of use, and the differences in the use environment, commercial paraffin waxes are required to have a series of different melting points to meet varied practical demands.

For example, waxes used in warmer climates or during summer generally need higher melting points so they remain stable and effective in elevated temperatures, while those used in colder regions or winter conditions may require lower melting points to maintain flexibility, spread evenly, and deliver proper performance.

粗製パラフィンは高い油分を含み、主にマッチ、繊維板、ターポリンなどの製造に使用されます。完全に精製されたパラフィンと半精製パラフィンは幅広い用途があり、主に食品、経口薬、ワックスペーパー、クレヨン、キャンドル、カーボンペーパーの成分および包装材料として使用され、また果物の保存、電気部品の絶縁、ゴムの耐老化を改善し、柔軟性を高めるためにも使用されます。
