課題から解決策へ:マレーシア向けPETストラップクラッシャーマシンの事例研究
For businesses in the packaging industry, managing production scrap like PET strap waste is a constant operational challenge. The goal is not just disposal, but efficient recycling that can be integrated smoothly into existing workflows. This was precisely the situation for our client, DY Strap & Wrap Sdn. Bhd., a prominent packaging material company in Malaysia. They needed more than just a machine; they needed a complete solution for their PET strap recycling process.

The Challenge: Integrating a Crushing System into an Existing Workflow
DY Strap & Wrap approached us with a clear objective: to process their waste PET straps. However, a deeper analysis of their needs revealed several critical requirements that a standard, off-the-shelf machine could not meet.
- Material Impurity: The PET straps were bundled with metal buckles, which posed a significant risk of damaging the crusher’s blades and contaminating the final product.
- Workflow Integration: The client’s established process involved using 500kg woven jumbo bags to collect and transport recycled material. Any new system had to discharge directly into these bags, which meant the discharge height of the storage silo was a critical, non-negotiable parameter.
- Long-Term Reliability: As an end-user, the client was concerned about equipment uptime and the availability of spare parts to ensure continuous production without lengthy interruptions.
Our Solution: A Customized PET Strap Crushing Line
Acting as a dedicated PET recycling solution provider, we engineered a customized PET strap crushing solution designed to address every one of the client’s pain points. The core of the system was a heavy-duty plastic crusher, but the value was delivered through a complete, integrated line.
This turnkey plastic recycling plant included:
- Dual Magnetic Separator Elevator: Placed at the beginning of the line, this crucial component automatically removes metal buckles before they enter the crusher, protecting the equipment and ensuring the purity of the crushed PET flakes.
- Model-60 PET Strap Crusher Machine: This powerful and robust machine, with its D2-grade knives, was selected for its proven performance in handling tough materials like PET straps, providing a consistent output of 150-300kg per hour.
- Custom-Height Storage Silo: To solve the primary workflow challenge, we confirmed our 1.5-meter-high silo would provide ample clearance for the client’s 1.1-meter-high jumbo bags, ensuring a seamless and efficient collection process. This level of customization demonstrated our capability as more than just a plastic crusher manufacturer.
- Proactive Maintenance Package: Foreseeing the client’s concern for long-term operation, we took a proactive step. We recommended including a knife sharpener and a full set of spare blades with the initial order. This allows the client to sharpen one set of blades while the other is in use, virtually eliminating downtime related to blade maintenance.
