For manufacturing companies, turning production waste into a valuable resource is a key step towards sustainability and profitability. This was the goal for our client, the owner of BMS Manufacturing LLC in Texas, USA. As a producer of PP straps, he wanted to bring the recycling process in-house by converting waste material into reusable pellets. The challenge, however, was not one of intent, but of available space.

The Challenge: Fitting a Pelletizing Line into a Constrained Facility

The client, an experienced manufacturing professional, knew exactly what he needed: a reliable PP pelletizing line with a capacity of around 80 kg/h. He was not looking for the cheapest option; he was looking for a functional solution that could physically fit into his existing, space-limited factory floor.

This highlighted the project’s central question: how do you implement a complete industrial process in a compact environment?

Shuliy’s Solution: A Visual and Targeted Engineering Approach

Our response was to act not just as a machine supplier, but as an engineering consultant, providing a solution tailored specifically to the client’s spatial limitations.

1. Configuring a High-Efficiency, Compact Line:

We first configured a complete plastic pelletizing machine line designed for performance and a minimal footprint. The system included:

  • A SL-140 Plastic Melting Extruder with a high-hardness 40Cr screw, providing the core melting and mixing capability.
  • An electric Hydraulic Screen Changer for efficient filtration without halting production.
  • A stainless steel Water Cooling Tank to rapidly cool the extruded plastic strands.
  • A Pellet Cutting Machine with converter speed regulation for uniform and consistent pellets.
  • A central Electric Control Cabinet to manage the entire line.

2. Providing a Custom Factory Layout Design:

This was the decisive action that built trust and secured the project. Instead of just providing dimension numbers, we created a detailed custom factory layout drawing. Critically, this drawing was modified to reflect the client’s final machine configuration.

Building Trust with Transparency

To reinforce his confidence, we shared photos and videos of similar machines we had built for other clients. When he expressed interest in a factory visit for inspection, we immediately shared pictures of other international clients visiting our PP strap recycling machine, confirming that we are an experienced and transparent manufacturer accustomed to global partnerships.
